Engineer Class Guide
Role: Vehicles, repairs & fortifications
Signature Weapons: Repair tools & building kit
What the Engineer Track Does
Engineer owns the battlefield itself. WARDOGS is built on destructible buildings and combined-arms combat, and the Engineer is the track that repairs what armor breaks, builds what demolition destroys, and deletes vehicles that think they own the road. In the game's first EA week, community sentiment repeatedly called Engineer the strongest tree in the game.
Signature Tools and Weapons
The repair tool keeps friendly vehicles and fortifications alive; the building kit turns rubble into cover and foxholes into strongpoints. Anti-armor hardware scales with the threat: the RPG-7 ($2,000) is the budget answer, while the MAAWS and the MGL-40 cover heavier launcher duty. If a vehicle is ruining your match, an Engineer is the counter-pick.
How to Play Engineer
Follow the armor. Engineers extract value from every friendly vehicle and every defensible building, so position yourself where the match's hardware concentrates. Repair behind cover, build before the fight arrives instead of during it, and save launcher rounds for armor that actually threatens the objective — a wasted RPG tube is $2,000 of education.
Progression Priorities
Unlock the repair tool upgrades first — they pay for themselves every match — then the building kit, then launchers as your cash flow allows. Engineers die less than their kill feed suggests: most of the track's value is logged in preserved vehicles and survived pushes, not eliminations.
