PKM Weapon Guide

The PKM is the position-holder: 55 damage per round out of a 100-round box magazine, with full damage retained to 1,000 meters. Nothing else in Early Access WARDOGS combines that damage profile with that suppression budget — it is the gun that makes a captured tower or a held treeline genuinely expensive to attack.

Support players anchoring objectives — the community consensus runs the cheap M500 or M249 SAW first and the PKM as the mid-game anchor once matches routinely pay for it. At $4,500 it deserves a squad around it: a Medic for the times you get caught reloading and a plan for the position you are holding, because a PKM in the open is just an expensive donation.

S tier as the LMG leader: the M249 SAW covers the budget end in A tier, and the RPG-7 answers vehicles where the PKM answers infantry. In the no-insurance economy the PKM's 100-round box is also an income tool — suppress a crossing, and the fight comes to the squad that resupplies you instead.
