Recon-minded players who already win their aim duels — the community guidance is explicit: field the SVD only after your bank survives losing it, and run Mosin-tier bolt actions on the cheap days. At $4,800 it is a serious line item; paired with Level 3 armor it is the standard "comfortable bank" loadout for anyone whose job is holding angles over the Control Zone.

S tier as the marksman category leader — the mid-tier between bolt-action economy and the $8,800 AMR 50. The bolt actions (Mosin Nagant, SV98) live in the Specialist band as budget answers; the AMR 50 is the anti-materiel ceiling.
